Install event code
Event code lets your organisation track specific actions that take place and leverage them in advertising. You must install event code on specific pages of your website where the actions will take place.
You can use the nine standard events that Facebook pre-defines to track and optimise adverts for conversions. To measure and optimise for more granular actions, you can add parameters to your events by using recommended or advanced installation options for your event tags. You can also create custom events for actions important to your business that you define. There are three implementation settings: basic, recommended and advanced.

Check pixel status
Go to Facebook Adverts Manager and select Pixels from the top menu. If the status is Active, your pixel has been installed correctly. It may take up to 20 minutes for your pixel status to change after installing it.
